What Should I Expect To Happen When I Arrive?
We understand that visiting new places can sometimes be uncomfortable. However, here at Destiny Church we believe that when you arrive on the property you will feel right at home. According to feedback, one of the first things our guests notice when they are entering our doors is the welcoming atmosphere. This atmosphere is one that involves people of all ages, backgrounds, and ethnicities. Our greeters and leaders will be delightfully awaiting to greet and welcome you into the our tabernacle (sanctuary/ auditorium) for an experience in the Presence of God that you’ll never forget. If this will be your first time at Destiny Church, be sure to stop by our “connect tent” outside the front doors. We will have a special gift for first time guests, and some information for you and your family about our church, and our ministries.
What Should I Wear?
Destiny Church is not an ordinary local church. We are diverse in many ways. One of those ways is our dress style. Typically on Sundays, upon your arrival, you will notice some people dressed up in their “Sunday best”, and others who will be wearing flip flops and shorts. No particular attire is expected or required.
What Should I Expect The Services To Be Like?
Our Worship Services are power-packed with the presence of God. You will hear anointed worship including a blend of hymns you may remember from childhood, to today’s contemporary worship music with everything in between! Our mime, dance, and step teams often minister in services and lead us into an atmosphere of expectancy and excitement for what God is able to do in your life! Our Pastor ministers the Gospel with a passionate spirit and dynamic anointing that will cause you to excel in your faith and receive the breakthrough that you’ve been believing for. Lives are changed in our services, on a weekly basis, by God’s mighty power! Our services are “Spirit-led” and have no set time for dismissal, but usually last about an hour and a half to two hours. We can almost guarantee that after one encounter in God’s presence at Destiny Church, you won’t hesitate to be right back with us! We can’t wait for you to join us!
What About My Kids And Youth?
Our children and youth ministries will have your kids begging you to bring them back each and every week! We have ministry for all ages including nursery (newborn-toddlers), as well as children’s church on Sundays for ages 4-10 years old. On Wednesdays, our children (pre-K -5th grade) meet, as well as “412 YTH” (Middle & High school class). If your children will be participating in children’s church, get here early to get them signed in and ready to go. We are sure that they will enjoy their experience here at Destiny Church, and believe that what they learn will cause them to grow in Christ and make a lasting influence in their lives forever.
